This is really embarassing but I will put on the dunce cap I found in my chair this morning and ask.
Using Windows 2000 Pro I somehow drug my status bar to the right side from the bottom and for the life of me I can't get it back.
HELP!

Brother Sid - dragging should work.
Left-click and drag the left-hand edge toward the left - it should change after you release the button. Then Drag the top-edge downward.

Do you mean the task bar with the start button?
Just drag it. Make sure it's not locked

Do you mean your Windows Task Bar?
See that gray area between your open programs and all those icons near your system clock? The area that is usually empty when no windows are open. Click and hold down your left mouse button in this area. Now move it down to the right location.
If it's locked, right click in that same area... go to properties... unlock the task bar. Once its unlocked you should be able to move it into place.

I told you it was a bad morning.
I can stretch it from the side but when I right click in the grey area (or go the top) it will not move. I checked the properties and no where does it show a locking button.
Oh and yes I did mean task bar.

I don't think 2000 had taskbar locking.

Oh and yes I did mean task bar.I actually got out of my chair for this, LOL. Left click hold and drag works on my plotter machine, its win pro 2000, and no it has no locking feature. Smile your day will get better

Hey, be careful who is in the can before you burn it ;)
