Symbolic Line Representation

Hello,

I'm trying to create a variation of the beam family that has an added symbolic line allowing me to stretch it out to represent a beam framing into the side of a cantilevered beam. Is it possible to have the symbolic line change lineweight to match the usage of the beam (e.g. girder, joist, etc.)?

Hey Rick, Yes it is. Set your symbolic line type to be <Defined by Instance>.
