Family visibility issue (by View)

Some of the linework in an exterior elevation view is missing (see attached images). The problem is view related; if I move the view tag (for the one that works) to point at the side of the building that is not working, the windows look fine (via the relocated view tag). Also, if we create a new view tag it also works.

We obviously have the work-arounds, but would like to know if there is a setting we are missing.

Any chance the windows are inserted inside out? (reversed)

Nope, I thought of that as well. Also, recall, adding a new view tag fixes the problem.

Have you checked the Detail Level of the exterior view where the linework is missing ?

Have you checked the Visibility parameter in the Elements properties of the offending geometry in your Rfa ? It looks like the missing lines represent a separate element created in the family editor.
Probably you have edited the Detail Level there which is View specific.
