Newbie Question... Plan "Templates"

Hello:

I'm creating a series of restroom and stair plan "templates". These are not "project templates" per se.

What's the best practice to make these plan templates available for re-use in future projects- save them as Revit groups (.rvg), or as Revit projects (.rvt) ? Or is there another method?

Both Groups and Families work - I don't think saving them as projects will get you what you want. Families give you more sophisticated tools to work with as far as customizing and building in options - groups work most like Autocad blocks. We save apartment unit plans as groups to have them available for other projects.
