Travel Distances

This is embarrassingly simple

Need to check / show & measure crooked travel distances for escape routes ~ simple line would be adequate
I thought a chain line would give me total length ~ not so
Although a small problem to add total segments it would be nice for complete total read out quickly

Any ideas?

Only Have Revit ~ but splines come close but would prefer straight

Two ways you "could" do this...by drafting something and reporting.

Special Wall style narrow single component with distinct type marks, draft them in the corridors at a height of your choice. Then schedule and filter for egress type walls and group/total by "egress" type mark.

Property lines can be sketched and then tagged with length and scheduled using an egress type mark also. Similar results except that it will be slightly harder to control their visibility perhaps.

Just a couple ideas "off the cuff"
