I have concrete grade beams that frame into the side of concrete pile caps at a 45-degree angle. How can I make the end of the beam align with the end of the pile cap to match the skewed edge of the pile cap? The attached file shows an example of what I am trying to accomplish.
Also, when using concrete columns, the ends of concrete beams will automatically align to the face of the columns. This is not the case with pile caps. After adding beams with pile caps, I need to align the end of the beam to the face of the pile cap. Is there a modification I need to make to the concrete beam or pile cap families so the beam to pile cap behaves in the same manner as the beam to column?
