I know about the opening tool, but i want to create an opening in a curved wall that does not angle back to the centre point of the wall. Besides an inplace family what else can i do? Create a door family that has an angled opneing in it? is that possible?

I should create an Generic Wall Based Rfa with a simple rectangular void which cuts the host wall.
Unless you constrain it in a specific way, when placed in a curved wall, the rectangular void creates an opening which do not angle back.
Did I misunderstand the question?
