Just got my the marketing stuff over the e-mail. They're still using the old white paper on how to use Revit 4.5 with VIZ 4. Guess Revit ain't too high up on their list to integrate. Would like to know if someone knows if Revit is easier to import & use in Viz than before. Accurender is nice & straight forward. Viz is faster (once you're set up) but more complicated. Viz did not use to recogize Revit trees and topos either so that was work to be done all over. Revit 6.1 Export Layers Dialogue still looks inadequate (i.e. can't customize wall types before exporting; only types like exterior, retaining and so forth). Anyone know more about it?

Plus, there doesn't seem to be any demo's or free trials. Anyone know?

There's another thread on this that Aaron started, but I'll be damned if I can find my way back to it. It's under AUGI Forums but where?

This LINK (http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=3518&highlight=2005)

Viz is too short in the search form so it gets ignored...try searching with Viz 2005, that found the above link.

Thanks, Steve. I later realized that Aaron's thread was from before the changeover.
