Interior elevation tags

Is it possible to turn the interior elevation tag text to transparent?
They seem to be in the way a lot.

Why would you wanna do that? Just uncheck the elevation tag for that elevation but the elevation will be deleted.
Anyhow, there is no way to make the text transparent.

I think she means the text background, not the text itself.
