We have a renovation project where we are matching an existing wood wall paneling on new curved walls. The existing is made by applying 1x2's and 1x4's spaced 1/2" apart and staggering the joints vertically on the wall.

There are quite a few of these in the project and actually placing them individually would be quite difficult. I was hoping to create a "pattern" that could be applied to the wall to simulate the "look" of the original. (see photo).

Since I can't edit the profile of a curved wall....What would you do?

I believe if this is a jpg file you can add it to your material library and use it on the wall. There may be some playing with the scale, but I feel it do-able.

You could create a custom curtain panel that would work for this.

when you say you cant edit the profile of a curved wall, how does that relate to the wood panel issue?

To edit the profile of a curved wall you can do a few things. Either create a roof(by extrusion) in the shape you want the top to be and extend the wall up to that, this works great for parapet caps etc because you can then use the cut profile tool on the roof and have it follow your wall exactly, then even apply a fascia sweep to it., or create a void extrusion in the shape you want the top of the curved wall and cut geometry.
