Dimension - "fixed length extension style" not working

Can anybody tell me, why my dimensions dont work properly? On the dimension style manager, I ticked the "fixed length extension style" box to a value of 200.
Either my dimensions come up with no extension lines, or they have a different length on the right and on the left. Thanks for replying.

Are you using Linear Dim. to dim an angle, therefore creating one ext line to be longer than the other? If your dim. line is closer than 200 units from the point of origin then its gonna show a full ext line, once it gets past 200 units then it will just show a 200 unit ext line.
