Hi, I've created a rather simple street lamp in 3ds MAX. I then exported the lamp into a dwg file format. I then imported the dwg file into a generic model Revit family. Following this, i saved the revit family and imported it into my working file.
No problems at this point, the model looks good.
The problem is that I can not seem to change the color or material of the lamp. It stays at it's default grey color. I need to change the color of the lamp for rendering purposes but don't know what I am missing. I thought just adding a new Material family parameter would allow me to do this. Apparently, I can add a Material parameter but the lamp model does notseem to recognize it.
