Man, we must have a deadline tomorrow. I think this is 6 posts in a day.
Anyway, roof plans. We have a building with a flat roof, parapets, and some sloped overhangs. In AutoCAD we would have three lineweights, heavy for the perimeter, where the depth beyond the form is all the way to the ground. Then medium for the top of parapet, where the depth is a few feet down to the roof, and lastly thin for the ridges and valleys in the "flat" roof, etc.
Now in Revit, we just have a view looking down, nothing is cut, and lineweights don't vary by "depth of edge defined". Right now the roof plan just looks totally flat and un-expressed. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get more depth out of a roof plan?
Thanks again,
Gordon
