Error message saving image in Raster 2006

I'm unable to save an image in Raster 2006.
The following error message comes up all the time:
"Raster Design was unable to save your file to the name requested. Your data has been saved to the temporaty file R:\......\AECAD.tmp".
Has anyone encontered this problem? I there a solution to it?

Sounds like you have write access but not delete access to the location in which you are trying to save.

When a file is saved, a temporary file is written then the old file is deleted, then the temporary file is renamed to the old file name. In your case the temporary file is being created, but since the old file cannot be deleted, the temp file cannot be renamed to it.
