Section view depth

Hi ,

Is there a way to set a constant far clip offset when I place
a section mark on plan view ? I found that it mostly will
see through the whole model but sometimes will only to
a shorter dist. if the section mark is relative shorter.

How to control the extent (say 1meter beyond my section line) ?
Just don't want to adjust by properties or by eye each time.

Since there is no access to the Instance parameters of this family prior to placement and no other area that I've found to preset this I don't think you can change its default behaviour. One time saving tip is that after you place all of your section cuts you can right click -> select all instances or select everything and filter so just the views are checked, right click -> properties and change the far clip offset parameter for them all at once.

Though a bit disappointed, your idea to do such adjustment in on go
is a very good alternative.
