skylight not scheduling in window schedule

i have 2 types of skylights, one showing in my schedule and the other one is not. i tried to compare and found out that one says

Family:Generic Models:Pyramid
Family:Windows:Skylight

the first one will schedule and the second one will not. how can i make the generic model become a skylight. i might have just downloaded the pyramid somewhere. is there an easy way?

First of all you need to create the skylight/pyramid using Generic Model Roof Based.rvt family, not generic model.rvt

However, select the window (skylight) and select Edit Family on the options bar. Then, go to Settings > Family Catagory and Parameters... and select Windows then reload into your project. Hope this helps.
