big roof troubles

im having trouble getting the mansard part of this roof to connect to the u/s of the peak, any ideas?

its because the mansard part sails past the top of the regular pitched roof.

Try reducing the height of the mansard roof say a couple of feet or more clear under the pitched roof. Then try using the 'join roofs' tool, selecting the underside of the pitched roof and the top of the mansard. I believe this should extend the top of the mansard to meet the u\s of the pitched roof (which is what I think you want?)

Should work although I haven't actually tried it yet....
