It seems that a good way to learn about locks is to open files that use them (mostly families).
However, while I can see a lock when I select an object, I'm a bit clueless as to what it represents. In other words: Was the "Align" tool used, then the object locked?; if so, what was the controlling object?; was the dimensioned locked? etc.
Is there any way to get Revit to reveal the meaning and constraints of the lock symbols?
