is there a way in revit that recognizes preset abbreviations like

ACT for Acoustical Ceiling
HM for Hollow Metal
PT for Paint

and that we can at any given time have the option to use either the full description or the abbreviations as an additional parameter. the reason for this is in all our 1/8 plans and elevations, we tag a lot of things using abbreviations instead of the CSI number and certainly not the full description.

and ive encountered this use over and over and i can't seem to make a workaround. in my previous post i ended up having 2 columns in a temp finish schedule that i have to be careful in updating both at the same time.

does anybody know if i can use RevitKeynotes_Imperial.txt for this. can i have both of them active that i still use the original file for my detail drawings but have a different keynote legend for bigger plans?
