bug in revit 8.1??

hi. during a project, i created an angle bar with slots using solid form and void. i noticed that the solid angle bar becomes clear or some sort of a glass entity after i incorporate the void into it. i repeated the procedure and the same thing happens...anyone of you experienced this?? is this a bug that's already resolved in release 9.0?

and also, is there a way wherein i can convert files created in 8.1 to 8.0? pls. advise. tnx.

Only at the factory. No reason not to update to 9.0 - Its free.


Post images of the effects on the angle bar. I have not had that problem with 8.1 before.

i attached the dwf file. there are 2 angle bars w/ slots in the drawing which btw is in shaded view, you will notice that the left angle bar w/ slots displays as a clear/glass entity and not a solid one. should be solid like the one in the right.
