Invisible Railings?

I can't seem to figure this one out. I've drawn railings (via edit sketch for railings) to extend stairway railings where I have balcony situations, but they aren't visible in the plan views. I can see them in every other view (3d, sections, elevations), but can't seem to find them no matter how much I manipulate my view range or visiblity/graphics settings. I must be overlooking something really simple.

Are phases or worksets being used? Make sure your railing is in the right one in either case. Make sure your phase filter isn't affecting them.

I am using phases with the following setting:

Balcony Plan: (Handrail is existing)
Phase Filter - Previous + New
Phase - New Construction

First Floor: (Handrial is new)
Phase Filter - Previous + New
Phase - New Construction

In both views, the handrail extensions that I've drawn are not visible. I'm stumped.
