I really hope someone can help me on this one!!! My situation is that certain 3d views that we have no longer display anything. The view is still in the design browser but when you open the view nothing is there.
We have done all the typical "zoom to fit", turn on/off and all combos in between of the scope box and crop region. We have even tried to remake the camera view but the remade image is a mix of wireframe and shaded and the instant we try and rotate the image disappears. This has only affected certain exterior 3d views and none of our interior views are affected.
This is a huge central file (52megs) and we are about 2 week from 99% completion (the last push) and it is starting to act up with these views. Can anyone help. Is there any way to see if our central file is corrupt. I would be willing to send the file to someone to look at however like I said it is rather large so I am unable to post it.

Thanks,

David

You must be able to display the camera view within a floor plan (right click on the 3d view where its listed on the project browser and select 'display camera'. ) Is so that should at least show you where the camera is.

My intial guesstimate would be that it is now behind or within a wall / mass of some sort.

Hope that helps.

Max.

I had this happen once. The problem was a linked Autocad civil file with a few lines that were drawn miles away from the main part of the drawing. Do you have any linked files or attachments?

Yeah we did just add some civil files into the revit file. How did you fix the problem open them in autocad and find the lines??
