Hi All,
When adding Rooms in a Schedule before it is placed, is there a way to dictate the required size of the room? This would be helpful in Space Planning prior to adding walls, etc.

Just add a project parameter to rooms.

oh, actually, what I meant was to have it physically show the room size.
the room object will automatically show the pale blue fill for the room even when it is not in an enclosed area. what drives the size of that fill?
can i change it per room?

The bounding walls and room separation lines control the size of the room fill. It can't be perset as it will have an error until it is enclosed.

It sounds like you are trying to make some generic shapes for placing schematic areas. You can use the mass tool for this. It will report both area and volume and works across multiple floors.
