Does anyone really use this feature of ADT?
Seem overly complicated.
What are the benefits of using this feature?

It may seem complicated at first, until you fully grasp the Construct/View concept.

Project Navigator has some nice features:
-- Drag-n-drop XREFing
-- Drag-n-drop viewporting
-- Project Standards, sync styles across ALL drawings
-- DWF entire sheet set
-- Etransmit entire project
-- Drag-n-drop linking of callouts (section, elevation, etc)
The list goes on.

Thanks Terry,
I knew there had to be some real world examples of how to use the Navigator.
The ADT help files are criptic at best.

I use it, and still do. I thought it was a nice way to organize drawings. I did run into a few issues with it the first time, but after the service pack for ADT05 was released, the issues went away. There are a lot of nice things you can do with it.

i guess so because my company has told me to develop a template with the project navigator so all our division can easily access each others information and work on projects.

I personally like it. The only issue I have with it is the same one I have with Revit. No way to open read only in an easy fasion.

We use it as well.
It takes a bit to get used to but is worth the effort. I like how it ties in with the fields in the tag (auto-filling/auto-coordinating the section references back and forth, etc...)
Saves a lot of time when trying to crank things on on the last couple days.

Do you by any chance have the 129 class zipped. I could not find it on the list of current classes nor could I find it on the archived list.
Thanks!

In order to encourage participation in ATP courses when they are offered, there is a lag time between the conclusion of a course and its appearance in the archives. This is noted as being three months in the ATP web pages (http://www.augi.com/education/default.asp?page=300); the current archive appears to be approximately six months behind. As of October 2, 2006, courses up to those offered in February 2006 [ATP109] are available here (http://www.augi.com/education/archive.asp?page=293).
I do not know when ATP129 was offered, but keep checking back every month or so.

FYI 129 was done in July so it should come out soon. This is one of the best courses I've ever taken.
