I start off with a classic case of importing layouts as sheets...I browse for the drawing and select it. Then, it of course tells me that its already part of another sheet set and cant be imported. This is where my question comes in....This sheet set that its telling me about was created by a previous person and of coarse I have no idea where its located. As far as I know AutoCAD has has no way of tracking down or showing some sort of history as to which sheet set this drawing is being referenced in. Is there a way?

If you open the drawing in question, then does the sheet set show up in the SSM?

If you click the drop down box and select open, does it put you in the folder where that sheet set is located?

Hi

Give these a try...

ID: TS1055824 - Some layouts cannot be imported into a sheet set (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=7605681&linkID=2475323)

ID: TS1057664 - Determining if a sheet set is linked to a drawing (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=7340230&linkID=2475323)

Have a good one, Mike

That works great. SSFOUND........now why wouldn't that information
be listed in the sheetset manager. I am guessing that would be too easy.

If the shortcut was a long one, I could see not wanting to have it visibily shown in the SSM.

I would at least have the path accessible from the manager somehow.
