Hi

Can someone tell me how to use this parameter ? Is it just simple text parameter ?

The pulldown arrow lets you select from the list of fill patterns. To add more fill patterns you do that under settings>fill patterns. Once you add them they are available. If you are talking about the button next to the pulldown arrow, then that is a button that lets you assign one parameter = to another, this is done in the family editor where you may want the width parameter to = 1/3 the height parameter or something like that. I'm not sure if you can use it to set the fill pattern type to equal another parameter.

Thank you Scott for the answer. But I'm asking about the parameter that can be assigned to the Fill Pattern ? I'm just curious about its purpose.

That parameter does not yet seem to be implemented. The value assigned is discarded.

its been there from some days now....and not been addressed...?!
any developments till date with regard to the parameter that couldnt be accesed?
