Scheduling Plumbing Fixtures

Is there a way to schedule what room the plumbing fixtures reside?

Yes! If the fixtures are linked as part of a Revit Building file then you need to check the Include Items in Linked Files check box in schedule properties. Then select Rooms from the Select the available fields from drop down list box, right above the check box.

If they are in the Revit System project itself then just select the Rooms category from the same Select the available fields from drop down list box.

I think that I am missing something. I am in the original model. When I go to create a plumbing fixture schedule room is not one of the fields available. I am assuming that this is where you would find the filed.

When I select room name and room number it doesn't fill in the schedule automatically. Is there something that I am not doing correctly or am I just asking for too much?
