How do I change the "File Type" in the "Select Template" dialog box to default to a dwt when I do a Qnew.
We have one new user that the default is dwg. It is no big deal, he just needs to change the file type to see the available dwt's but I have to believe that there is a setting somewhere that would correct this.

The QNEW command can be the fastest way to start a new drawing. When you use the following settings, QNEW immediately starts a new drawing without displaying any dialog boxes or prompts:
1. Set the FILEDIA system variable to 1.
2. Set the STARTUP system variable to 0.
3. Bring Options dialog, switch to Files tab and specify QNEW template in Template Settings, Default Template File Name for QNEW

Under options, files, there is a place where you can set the default template to be used when you do qnew, and there is also a place where you can set the default directory for templates. I think if you have this default directory set to a template directory, it will automatically open that directory up when you do qnew, and it will be defaulted to template.
If you use the same template everytime, set it as the default template for qnew, and it will open automatically. Then if you need a different template, type new, and you will get the list.
See attached file for what mine looks like (slightly different because I am running Mechanical)
