My AUTOCAD 2004 is printing leaders that are on an off layer...anyone ever had this problem?

Check to see if the leader is a custom block that is created on a non-zero layer. If so, re-define the block to be on layer 0.

The leader is straight from the dimension toolbar.

It may also help to delete the block, then re-insert it, making sure you are on the "off" layer. Many times when you check block properties it may say it is on layer X, but still retain properties from the layer it was inserted on.
Don't worry if you don't know the blocks normal location, the pull-down on the insert block dialog box will have the block listed as long as you haven't purged.

Hi

For starters...

Leader Block Arrow Plots (previews) when layer is turned Off

Leader lines (not arrows) on frozen layer plot

Quick Leaders still print when layer is off

Have a good one, Mike
