Stairs in "groups"

Dear All.

We are trying to create a typical commercial core consisting of service lifts, stairs,M&E
voids etc.

When we group the core and save as a group the name appears in the Project Browser.

BUT - when placing the group again in another position all appears except the stairs.

The error message appears cannot create surface for stairs.

Any ideas why.

I wasnt able t o reproduce your error. Stairs seem fine in group. Are you using worksets ? Are you placing the group at a different level ?

Yes we are using worksets........


Tried the new group on different levels and also placing it in the 3d view but to no avail.

Could the stair be on a different Worksets ?
Can you export the group and insert it in a new project ?
Can you post the file if that doesnt work ?
