Object Styles Bug or My Brain Bug?

Does anyone know what (if anything) the Plan Rep (sub-category of Structural Foundations) does? I was under the impression it would control the Plan Representation but it has never seemed to be obvious to me when I change it. I've avoided using it but have now officially become obsessed :banghead: with finding out what it is supposed to do!

Thanks for any input and supplying me with my daily fix of revit knowledge!

In Revit Structure 2 they used to have 2 Extrusions for the Isolated Foundation Family. One was for Front/Back and Left/Right display and the other was for Plan and Cut display. The Plan and Cut display extrusion had a heavy dashed line (by default) and was of the sub category Plan Rep. I don't believe any of the foundation families (system or delivered) in Revit Structure 3 make use of this sub category. I believe it's just a cleanup issue that fell through the cracks and should probably be removed.
