Filters in links

Hi all,
I applied filters to an existing project to make some foundation lines hidden. I then linked that project to my new project, but the filtered lines do not show hidden. Is there a limitation there with using linked files or what?
(I have the objects in the existing project all set to existing.)

Tom, in the project where you linked your other rvt project, go to V/G and under Revit Links, select "By linked view" and set it to the view where your filters are applied. The view should become identical to the one you have in the linked project (where you used filters to produce hidden lines).
