Hi all
I'm working now on very large project which includes lots of glass and curtain walls. The first problem came out wen I tried to export to DWG a front elevation. All of my attempts ended up with fatal error. I found that the linked files cause the problem. Revit does not want to export to DWG an elevation when there are linked files. Maybe it is because I have lots of curtain panels and mullions:?:.
Second problem showed up when I tried to export 3d view to Max 8. I have in the project some curtain walls with mullions at different angles(the system rectangular mullion is 30 degrees rotated). The 3d view exports fine to DWG, but when I import it in Max 8 there is NO geometry for the curtain walls. The only solution I found is to explode those curtain objects in the DWG file.
I'd appreciate any ideas.
P.S. I found that the system curtain panels can have zero thickness8)
best regards
niki
