I have a JPEG image underlay of a site plan with some model elements for a building. On the screen I have a floor element which is opaque, view set to Hidden Line, and the image is set to Background. However when I print, the result shows the image through the floor as if the floor were transparent. What is going on here? Am I missing a setting?

Have you tried putting the image on a reference plane that is about 1" below the floor level? Sometimes that does the trick.

I'm going to throw out a guess that it might have something to do with your printer driver... but, like I said, that's just a guess.

I did not try that, but I did try moving the floor elements up a couple of inches. The background image is still showing through when I print, both to our laser printer and also using Adobe PDF Writer.
