Hi again

Is is possible to have the revision clouds and revision cloud tag/text to be visible on screen but make them non printable so they do not come out on the print.

We handle revisions manually and do not use the revision tool - but it would be handy for our co-ordination if we could make it non printable.

or come to think of it how to make any category "Non Printable"

Anyone have any ideas.

Regards

Dave

One way is to have "working" views of the model - plans et. work on these to develop the model but then have seperate views inserted on sheets for printing. visibility is then set on these views.

Absolutely. Working in your sheet drawings is a very good way of messing up your sheets. eg. turn on wireframe to snap to something below, forget to turn it back off and then go issue a set of drawings. Client comes back with "what are all these lines on my floor plan?"

I have my working set at a low scale (1:10 or 1:5) so hatches are clear, no crop box. I sort views by a shared parameter "view type" and keep all non-working views minimised so I can't open them by mistake.
