Problem moving everything

I opened up my file today and I can not drag anything and have to click on the object, then have to go to edit, move. I am sure there is a setting for this and hope someone can tell me how to fix it. Thanks

Options Bar > Check box for Pick and Drag

Tried that, didn't quite find a difference here.

Pick and Drag assumes that when you select something you can drag it immediately. Not checked and you must click the object again to drag it. Subtle...

Well I ending up closing out and it was fine when I reopened it. Where is this Options bar and check box at? I have looked around and cant seem to find it.

Seems like you might have to check your drop down menus... I don't know what will happen if I lose any of my menus.

On drag and drop, I still can't... oh wait, I have to select it?
