Formulas with Dates

Is it possible to create a visibility parameter that is dependant on the current date.

For example if 'today's date' is less than 'date instance' then visiblity = no.

Revit doesn't have a "date" field that can be used in formulas. I have been asking for a true database date field since I started using Revit in May 2003. For many reasons a date field would be very useful think about phases with dates, facilites management etc.

Exactly Tom - we are trying to bring out some of the 4d capability of revit with live dates. Excel can do it.......
