Hi,
Yes I do.
1. In the Architectural menu use the roof -> by footprint method.
2. Sketch our your roof area in the plan view
3. Pick the line at the bottom of the slope
4. In the Options bar check the "Defines Slope" box.
5. As line is highlighted you will see a little angle symbol. Click into that and set your roof slope.
5. Finish sketch

Voila.....you have created a sloped roof portion. Now do that for the other roof planes you need to create.

Have a great day...

keyvan,

For the actual framing, I think you would approach it in a similar fashion to traditional 2d documents. Typically we'll have Truss Types and label them on our 2d plans. With modeling I think you'd create Truss Type Families and place them accordingly. It'll be a pain unless you are very good at the family editor. I wouldn't know how to approach it other than from a non-parametric standpoint (model each type exactly as it will be built), this would mean a lot of work along those "transition" areas unless you just linework in the overframing?

Hope that helps, keep us posted on how you do....

ok this is how i layout my roof framing

after using architecture roof footprint i created my ridge elevation and draw all my ridge member in that elevation then using work plane i select each face of my roof so that work plane oriented as that face. then using beam system i draw lines around the edge of that roof face as beam support and i got my roof framing in same direction as roof face.

thanks for your help.
