This is another post of the curtain wall -
Firstly I must point out that I am not responsible for the design. That was a talented young designer in our organisation by the named of Mark Siddal.
This is a proposed university building.
The main construction element is a curtain wall, this has a number of door and window assemblies inserted into it. Some top hung windows have been opened with a object display override to provide a bit of interest and variation.
The solar shading panels are each made up from 2 slab objects one with holes, the other with a coloured glass material inserted mid way through the first.
Materials have been added in VIZ render (could have been VIZ, I am trying to work exclusively in VIZ render and call full VIZ only when necessary)
They are mainly off the shelf materials, and if my memory serves me correctly the only custom material was the one used for some of the window panels. These where created by using a special effect - cutout
Rendering time - surprisingly short, When I dig the project out from archive I will post more info.
Hope thats ok
