Custom Linetypes are coming out solid

Custom Linetypes are coming out solid, anyone else getting this?? I have some linetypes that are quite small, but they have worked fine since Revit 4.0 - now they are printing out in Solid?? if I alter them slightly they seem to work - but this a very annoying to have to do, is there a reason for it?

Is this in a plot or PDF export?

I've found that the printer setting (raster quality in the print dialogue) can also affect plotted output and some smaller linetypes tend to merge into continuous lines.

Yes I have found this when plotting to a PDF....unfortunately I have no answer

How small?

for example 2mm dash 1mm space - this has always worked before, now when I print to paper "sometimes" it comes out solid (ie only in certain files).... This doesnt happen every time, and it will preview as solid too. It is no doubt realted to upgrading the files or something as I only need to add 0.2mm or something and they work. - and I wont be able to forward you a file until I come across another one, as I have used the fix I found on all the ones I needed to, but I will post one as soon as (if) I come across another
