What is the "wall closure" option for in the Reference Plane Properties? I serched help and it seems that it does not adress it - they don't even mention it.

The wall closure ref.plane is used as a plane for the closure comdition of a family inserted into a wall - iei window and door families

You can set the wrapping to wrap the wall components to this ref.plane

I have seen a 'tip' for doing this but cant remember where ?
Anyone know where ?

when creating a family that is wall based, the one ref plane you set as wall closer affects where the wall closure at inserts happens (go into a walls properties and see wrapping at inserts).

I now use a detail component in windows and doors for the wall closing, it is (far more) accurate, so donr really use these setting anymore anyway. - and would suggest that to get wall closures at inserts to work you should do the same, the standard way is riddled with problems.
