Can anyone help.
I am trying to have LB walls under with a shade (using filled region) and LB walls over with a hatch. I have both of these filled areas as transparent.
Now my problems if that the shade, when I select it and then select the "send to the back" button, nothing happens. The shade is blocking the slab lines and wall lines.
What am I doing wrong? why won't it go to the back??????
Can anyone help please
Thanks
Anthony

Anthony,
What version of Revit are you using? I know that in RS2 you could actually change the solid region's background parameter from Opaque to Transparent. This didn't do any good because the solid filled regions cannot be transparent anyway. In RS3 you aren't given the option to change this setting, it's greyed out and always opaque. If you want a transparent pattern to look like a solid fill you have to use a dense dot pattern.
Also, the draw order tool only works with detail objects. If you have walls modeled and you are placing filled regions on top of them I don't know of a way to move the filled regions below.
Let me know if I misunderstood....

No you haven't misunderstood. That is what I am doing.
By the way I am running RS3.
I will try using the dense hatch dot pattern & see how I go. Thanks for that.

I have attached here the dots pattern that I sent to Anthony for this issue in the case that anyone else wishes to use it. It has been defined in metric as both Anthony and I are from Australia.
