dimensioning areas!

Hi there,
I need to dimensioning areas within a hotel in Dubai!
I only have a .dwg and there are no polylines within the drawing.

All 6 floors are different to eachother, so I started to import it into Revit.
Is there a fast way to get the areas for all the rooms, without tracing over the walls.

As far as I know, it is possible in ArchiCAD, by selecting the bucket similar as in Photoshop.

You would need to either use the wall tool with the pick feature and then pick the lines in your cadd file, or use the area tool and do the same thing, use the pick feature vs the draw and pick the lines in the cad file.
