Line based detail component - grouped and then mirrored

Has anyone noticed if you group a line based detail component then mirror the group the line based component is flipped? I tried this on several of our line based detail components to make sure it wasn't me. These are not components I made but ones from the current Revit 9.0 download. Does anyone have a workaround?
