To anyone who can assist,
I am trying to batch plot Plt files that we have made. Well in doing so They do not plot out correctly. What we do is start up Batch plot, add all the drawings we want to plot then we change the page setup for all of them which is setup to make a plt file of the drawings. (I have checked and the setup we have is perfect and plots fine when I only plot out one drawing and not doing to batch plot) Then once we have created all the plt files then we add all those .plt files to our Print Exec Lt from Oce and then plot out the .plt files. When the Oce prints these .plt files the bottom and left side is cut off. If anyone can help or has an idea what could be causing this it would be GREAT. THANKS.

I am not sure I understand fully. What do you mean when you say Batch plot? Do you do this within Revit, or is it an external software? We always plot to plt files in our office then we take the plt files and plot them to our plotter. Our process is from within revit to select the proper plotter (and choose the plot to file box), set up the page correctly for the plots, include the multiple sheets we want to plot, select the correct directory then plot. When done, we have multiple plt's in our folder. Then we take them and put them in the program that comes with our plotter to plot the files (REPRO FX).
If this helps then I am happy!

What software are you using?

Sounds like Acad to me...try making sure the OCE's plot settings are using Standard sheet in finishing options before your plot to file.

Check your default papersize settings in OCE...sounds like you are plotting 30x42 plts with a default 24x36 papersize.

Ok, I am using AutoCAD 2000i, but soon to switch to 2005. The plot comes out 30x42 but it cuts maybe a 1/4" off left and bottom sides. Is it the page settings in the Oce and not the page setup in the drawing. I want to believe that but once i batch plot they all come out funny.

I'd verify that the page setup is valid, even forcing an overwrite for that page setup once it has been verified. Then retry...by now you should know which app is causing the hiccup. If all else fails, you can use the "Batch Drawing Converter" to bury page setups in all your files. Then try replotting with that page setup native in each file.

Check to ensure you have "Layout" checked as opposed to "Extents" or "Window." I made the same mistakes in the beginning. I corrected it and am doing great now.
