Hi all,

I'm in the Tampa/St. Pete area and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any Land Desktop and/or 2007 Civil 3D training that starts from the ground up? I'm proficient in CAD up through 06, not an expert or LISP creator, but I'm a good drafter. I have no experience in Land or Civil 3D and that's the direction my company is heading so I'm trying to find some training courses. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

I have moved this thread from the CWC forum as I feel this thread would be better suited here.

have you called your local reseller (http://www.autodesk.com/reseller)?

or there's adesk custom training (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/linkedsumindex?siteID=123112&id=2387188&linkID=2475360)?

and, if you don't get what you want there, there's plenty via a google search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&rls=GGLJ%2CGGLJ%3A2006-11%2CGGLJ%3Aen&q=land+desktop+training), including some computer/video-based materials available.

good luck!

Don't look at just your reseller, but also the other resellers in your area if there are any. You may get better deals from others.

;) well... that's sort of a given, isn't it? ~looks around to see if my reseller heard me type that~

Hmmm..... ;)

Actually that's the truth. But sometimes there is more to a reseller than just their price. Some offer better training; some will accomodate your schedule more; some will train on-site; some will provide tech support/calls after the training to answer questions even if you didn't buy your software from them. Just a few things to think about.
