when creating a turn down slab at the edge of a 4" conc. slab, i have only one choice using the "host sweep"/"floor slab edge" tool, it's a Thickened 24" x 12". i'd like to change it to 16" x 8" but even when i duplicate and then try and edit, i don't have the option to change the thickness. is there a way to create a new slab profile whose dimensions i can manipulate?

Sure it is actually a profile family that has the adjustments, so if you look down under families in the project browser until you get to profiles, then find the one your host sweep is referencing it, you can make a new type right there or open the profile family and modify if it doesn't have the parameters you need.
