Is there a way to create a hyperlink in excel that will work when the
spreadsheet is published as a PDF?

I want to create a situation where a published spreadsheet has a link
back to the original excel file.

The spreadsheet is included in a multipage pdf file.

I don't know at the moment, but have you tried it?

In my experience, if I 'print' to pdf, hyperlinks don't work. I have to use the 'create pdf' or whatever button that the pdf writer installs.
Also, I know in Excel 97 that I can't just type the hyperlink into the cell, I actually have to assign the hyperlink (via the little toolbar button) to the cell itself.

I think if I've done those two things, hyperlinks work in excel-created pdfs... I've never actually tried hyperlinking a file back to itself (so to speak), but, I can't imagine any reason why it wouldn't work?
