Check View Range. Make sure Your ceiling height is within range.

Revit's just telling you that you can't see what you created because the elements you placed are out of view range or you are not looking at a reflected ceiling plan. Go to the project browser and navigate to a RCP. You can also cut a section through the space to confirm that the ceiling is there and at the correct elevation

Did you create a ceiling based view? Views>New>Ceiling.
