Does anyone know how to create or have an Spanish roof tile model pattern? I can't find one in my library and if I import the one from AutoCAD it won't work as a model fill. Any Ideas?

I believe one of the guys on this forum created a pattern of the sort...I'll try to find it.

Did you check the RUGI site? I believe they have a Spanish Tile pattern you can download. I took the Spanish Tile pattern I had in AutoCad and pasted it into the revit.pat file.
Or you can do an advanced search of this forum & there are tuns of spanish tile pats :)

You just need to convert your .pat file to a model by adding the following code infront of it, see the revit.pat file for the explanation.
; The name may contain any ASCII characters except for comma. They are shown in the list of
; imported patterns. The comma and comment are optional. They are ignored by Revit. The header
; may be followed by one of the following type directives:
;
; ;%TYPE=DRAFTING or
; ;%TYPE=MODEL
;
; If neither directive is present, Revit assumes that it is a drafting pattern.
Here are all of my .pat files, there are many spanish tiles to chose from, some are in the acad.pat files and have allready had the %TYPE=Model added to them.

Hi Scott,
Could you write the steps how to import .pat to revit and the next steps to use it as a pattern for roof tiles.
Thanks

Thanks for putting these together, is there a graphic someplace to indicate what each one is, since there is no preview available for .pat files... rather you have to load them all and apply them to see what they look like (or if you know another way?)
Thanks

After that, what's next? How do I apply that in my roof element as a pattern? I am using the latest Revit 2018 version.
Thanks in advance
